Heather Anderson – Yoga Instructor

photo of Heather AndersonHeather began practising hot yoga in Toronto, Canada 12 years ago. After going to her first class she was hooked on the way her body and mind felt. Over the years she became involved with a yoga clothing line called yogagurl and started helping the founder promote, sell and market the products. The love of the Spanish language brought Heather to Spain in 2006.  After several stressful years in sales in a crisis market, Heather decided to follow one of her life long dreams to become a certified yoga instructor. Heather has been lucky to have been trained under Baron Baptiste (Baptiste Power Hot Yoga), Ted Grand (Moksha Hot Yoga), Bikram Yoga, Rodney Yee, Alex Leikermoser a.k.a. yogagurl and the Tribe yoga instructors, Scarlett and Raquel. Heather is certified in teaching hatha vinyasa.

Santi Argañaraz – Yogilates and Yoga Instructor

photo of Santi ArgañarazSanti has a diploma in Physical Education and a Masters in Sports Management. He has more than 10 years experience in personal training and received his international certification in Pilates from Peak Pilates.

He has been practising yoga for five years and has been teaching yoga for two years.

Santi has completed two teacher training certifications of 200 hours in Hatha Hot Yoga in Thailand and Vinyasa Yoga in Barcelona.

Rosa Mª Madrid – Yoga and Yogilates Instructor

photo of Rosa Mª MadridIn the last 15 years, Rosa has always combined her profession as a Telecommunication Engineer with her great passion of sports. In 2000 she started giving classes in aerobics, step (FMG), Pilates (FEDA) and spinning (grupo DIR). She also has a degree in Nutrition.

Rosa discovered yoga by accident and over time she felt the need to deepen her practise both physically and spiritually. With this goal in mind she became a certified yoga instructor through the Yoga Alliance with a specialization in Dharma, Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Anusara and Iyengar Yoga. She has taught yoga for several years in these disciplines.

Laura Galindo – Yoga Instructor

photo of Laura GalindoTelecommunication Engineer by profession and yogi by vocation Laura began in the world of yoga by chance five years ago. She is an active person and enjoys every type of sport including snowboarding, climbing and scuba diving and yoga gave the perfect balance. Laura wanted to study yoga more in depth so she completed a 500 hour Yoga Alliance certification at Yoga One. Her classes are according to a dynamic character, combining diverse styles like Dharma, Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar and Ashtanga. Laura has taken courses in yoga in India, New York and Indonesia and practises yoga wherever she goes, since yoga and travelling are her two passions.

Gabriela Angueira – Yoga Instructor

photo of Gabriela AngueiraGabriela started practicing Hatha Yoga en 2001, in 2007 she decided to further her understanding of yoga and started to become a certified instructor with Carlos Claramunt and Mariona Puigferrat in Barcelona.  In 2009 Gabriela started taking regular Vinyasa Flow classes with Eugenia Kernian who inspired her to become certified in this style of yoga.  With the help of Tribe Yoga, Gabriela succeeded in 200 hours YTT in Rishikesh, India, obtaining her certification and registration in the IYN (International Yoga Network).  Motivated from a relationship with a friend and her marvellous connection with her baby during her pregnancy, in 2011 Gabriela received certification in Prenatal Yoga from Tere Puig. Gabriela regularily attends classes and workshops that permit her to deepen her understanding of Yoga’s endless possibilities.

Alejandra Vidal – Yoga Instructor

Alejandra is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres.  Shecompleted the Yoga Teacher Training (Teacher Training Course–TTC) in 2009 in the center of Vrindavan (India).  She is certified by the International Yoga Alliance for the standard 200 hours in the Registered Yoga Schools (RYS).  After 2010 she travelled to Barcelona and continued her 200 hour Hatha Vinyasa training from Yoga Studio Barcelona.  She knows and has explored different yoga styles, stating Ashtanga as her favourite.  She teaches yoga classes as well as workshops and seminars.  She considers herself very fortunate that she has received lessons since she was a child from her grandmother.  Alejandra’s Grandmother was a woman with clear inclination and became a Hatha Yoga Instructor in the 60s with Swami Vishnudevananda.  Her Grandmother taught her the yogic principles ever since she could remember, the best legacy she could have received and uses her teaches in her clases daily.

Lezanne Swart – Yoga Instructor

photo of Lezanne SwartLezanne first discovered the benefits of yoga in a small Iyengar Yoga studio in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1998. Practising at first to alleviate chronic upper back pain, yoga soon revealed itself as a holistic system which became beneficial on many different levels. Over the years that followed, she has migrated from Iyengar to a path of exploring Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. She has ultimately realised that yoga is a life-long journey, teaching us to live a fuller, more joyful and present life. Your own body becomes your best teacher. Lezanne is a certified yoga teacher (RYT 200) through Yoga Arts and has completed a 40 hour Astanga teacher’s training with Caroline Klebl. Lezanne is currently enrolled in a 9-month Anatomy Teacher Training course through Leslie Kaminoff’s The Breathing Project, as well as in the process of completing Sadie Nardini’s Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training.
