Heather Anderson – Yoga Instructor
Heather began practising hot yoga in Toronto, Canada 12 years ago. After going to her first class she was hooked on the way her body and mind felt. Over the years she became involved with a yoga clothing line called yogagurl and started helping the founder promote, sell and market the products. The love of the Spanish language brought Heather to Spain in 2006. After several stressful years in sales in a crisis market, Heather decided to follow one of her life long dreams to become a certified yoga instructor. Heather has been lucky to have been trained under Baron Baptiste (Baptiste Power Hot Yoga), Ted Grand (Moksha Hot Yoga), Bikram Yoga, Rodney Yee, Alex Leikermoser a.k.a. yogagurl and the Tribe yoga instructors, Scarlett and Raquel. Heather is certified in teaching hatha vinyasa.
Natsumi – Yoga Instructor
Natsumi was born in Barcelona and she has Spanish and Japanese origins. He has lived in Argentina, Mexico, London and other cities that have provided her an openness of mind and heart that allow her to embrace life in its breadth. She discovered yoga at 19 years old, in a small studio in Barcelona, since then, their relationship with it has not perished. It was his first trip to India when she really proposed the yoga as a way of life and met a more intimate connection with it and its science. Finally she was certified as a teacher of Hatha Yoga Vinyasa Dynamic Yoga Mandiram, by Yoga Alliance. She also trained as a teacher of prenatal and postnatal yoga and a year later as Yin Yoga instructor by Zentro Urban Yoga, Kathy Paez. Since its inception in sadhana, she has known and practiced various styles such as Kundalini Yoga, classic Hatha, Jivamukti or Anusara, among others. Her training is constant, and its practice combines a commitment to meditation.
Lucy Warren – Pilates Barre Instructor
With a background in artistic gymnastics both competing and teaching at elite level, Lucy had a great passion for movement from a very young age. Qualifying with Balanced Body in London and as well as teaching classical pilates, Lucy also teaches a method called Garuda which is based on rhythm and flow. Lucy loves to teach and her aim for each class is to fully challenge every physique, always respecting body integrity and movement precision.
Emily Freeland – Yoga Instructor
Creator of Yoga-Unite, is a 200Hrs Hot Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Alliance certified teacher. (200Hrs RYT). After discovering Hot Vinyasa in Barcelona and being motivated to return to her roots of dance and yoga once more, Emily decided to train with the wonderful people at Yogalinda to become a certified yoga teacher. has passion for movement and a long history with yoga and ballet, has allowed Emily to develop a dynamic and inclusive style suitable for all levels, allowing the student to get the most out of each posture in a way that is right for the individual. This positive, inclusive and varied style makes for an uplifting and educational experience.
Oscar Losada – Yoga Instructor
For years he has practiced different kind of sports such as swimming and capoeira. One day he decided to take a step beyond the simple physical activity and also quit his job as a computer technician to devote to learning and teaching yoga. After years of practicing different styles, he made his first training as a teacher in a course recognized by Yoga Alliance 500h. He continues his training by attending retreats and intensive courses with great masters of Dharma Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Jivamukti, and Sattva Yoga Iyengar as Andrei Ram, Dov Vargas (Dharma Mittra´s son), Jai Sugrim, Manju Jois (Pattahbi Jois´s son), Gustavo Ponce, Cristina Newton and more. As an instructor, he attempts to bring together the best that forwarded their teachers without forgetting that in yoga, we are ourselves students. He emphasizes on concentration and breathing, basically to allow each practitioner to find his own way.
Javier Salinas – Yoga Instructor
Tried to avoid yoga in every painful way. He insisted in doing things wrong and about committing all kind of mistakes. But all his efforts were in vain, or just a part of the path, and one day he surprised himself practicing yoga with tight clothes! During his practice Javier has met many masters, so many as beings in the Planet, and he kneel gently before all of them. He is disciple of Sri Dharma Mittra and Sri Andrei Ram. In his classes you may expect to work with your body in order achieve beauty and health, and to listen to your divine spirit.
Emily D. Szajda – Yoga Instructor
She is an ACF certified chef, vinyasa yoga instructor, and sports nutrition expert, having completed her studies through the American Fitness Professionals program (AFPA). In 2008, while balancing studies and a career in a popular resort in Phoenix, Arizona, Emily found yoga as a means to step away from all the responsibilities & stress. Emily began her journey into self-awareness & spirituality merely by the physical practice of yoga. Emily was driven to share the beauty that yoga brought into her life with others. Inspired by one of her own instructors, Vivienne Sio Tarquinio, Emily completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in June 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona at Life Power. She is certified by Yoga Alliance and is an active member in the association. Emily studied under renowned yoga instructors, Jenn Chiarelli and John Salisbury. She primarily teaches Vinyasa yoga. In addition, she also teaches more restorative yoga practices and meditation.
